Parts Lists
The parts for this project are broken down into two areas, the crossover and the rest. The common parts are listed in the first table. Each crossover is listed separately. Most of the parts listed were sourced at Madisound for price and availability at the time of writing. A few parts are sourced from Parts Express, but substitutions of crossover components with equivalent values from Parts Express or some other source should be nearly comparable in price, assuming no esoteric ones are used. Prices were rounded up to the nearest dollar for the items in the first table. They always go up in price over time anyway, right?
Capacitor quotes are all for Solen MKP (400v) values available at Madisound, they do not have the 250v (less expensive) version. Inductors are either Madisound 19 AWG air core or Madisound Sledgehammer laminated-core (as noted). Prices are all as of August 2009 and of course no shipping or taxes have been included.
